I am so, so sorry. My prayers go out to you and your family and I will pray for sweet Emma. I cannot imagine the pain that you and your family are going through. I have followed your process and was so happy for you when the birthmom was found for the interview. I will keep your family in our prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Who would have thought you had anything to worry about AFTER getting PGN's approval? I hope and pray that what GuateRose and jcmc posted will indeed be helpful to you and that Emma will indeed come home to her forever family. May God grant you peace and comfort and an answer to your prayers.

My heart goes out to you. It is with a leap of faith that one begins the journey to adoption, especially those without any children at home. It is a long painful journey of sometimes dealing with unethical, unkind, and thoughtless agencies; of unending roadblocks along the way, of coping with the terrible fear of "What if?" and the fear that once the dream seems to be happening something may go wrong. For many, the long arduous journey ends with the joy of a baby to love....but even then, for some the scars of the journey remain. However, with that said, the loss you have incurred is unbearable to even comprehend, let alone endure. May God give you and yours the courage and love to survive these dark days.

I am so very sorry that you are going through this nightmare and for Emma too. I don't want to give you false hope or suggest you proceed when maybe you know you have fought the good fight but I do hope that someone can show you a path that brings you both together.

You have to ask about an abandoment, it may not be a lost cause. That sounds similar to our case. We did go through an abandoment, it took a total of 2 1/2 yrs, but we did bring our little girl home. pm me if you would like. Best of luck, and do not give up. Lisa
