After now waiting 100+ days for our Mixco birth certificate, I thought we were closer. They only give out info on thursdays in GC RENAP, so last thursday, they told us our file had not been released. We called friday morning (since they only release files on friday) and found out it was just signed, so we begged them to allow them to pick it up. We ran around us calling, the children's home calling, and the agency calling the attorney to let her know when she went to pick up the file to ask for it, since it had not been logged in yet.

So, friday, we got the approval from GC RENAP. This morning our attorney drops it off back at Mixco - we have been told several times over the phone that once the paperwork was recieved it would take 2 HOURS. But this morning, they could issue it in 2 hours, but the signature would take up to 5 business days.

Now we call, and they say that we have a KO and they want a document fixed from PGN???

How can RENAP GC approve the birth certificate and Mixco now issue another KO (we were KO'd in Mixco, went to GC RENAP and was KO'd, supppsedly approved, and now KO'd from Mixco again??

I cannot be the optomist today - I am sorry. There is no end in sight with Mixco....

GRRRRR! I am SOOOO sorry! This is absolutely crazy and ridiculous. You know I feel your pain. Did they say the reason for the KO so perhaps your attorney can argue it? Remember that on Friday we were told we had to go back to PGN to have them change my name as it appears on the final decree. My attorney went with the name affidavit and today, it was allowed to be resubmitted "as is", along with the name affidavit. Assuming RENAP is telling us the truth, we are supposedly going to have the GC BC in 3 days (Thurs or Fri). Perhaps the same can happen with you--no return to PGN and no return to GC RENAP. I will be praying so hard for you (and for me). All the best wishes being sent to you...

I don't have any words of advice but just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you and sorry you have to deal with this! We waited almost 3 months for our BC and is was torture so I can imagine how you must be feeling by this point. Hope you get it soon and can get your sweet baby home asap!

Mixco wants CASH. I waited 3 months and paid...alot. If you did not pay, I am not surprised at all. Sad, very sorry for you but not surprised.

I'm so sorry! I don't think anyone expects you to be able to put a bright spin on this ordeal. This madness just has to stop soon. At some point, they have to end the shameless KO's and phoney reasons for keeping your little one away from you. Hang on...it has to end soon!!
