Please pray for Damaris that Nidia will soon be home. She and her family have patiently waited to bring their precious daughter home.

Wow! All of you humble me. Thank you for your support and prayers and prayers and prayers.
FYI, the lawyer went back to RENAP today with the name affidavit and the marriage certificate. The name affidavit is supposedly going to be enough to show that the final decree has my legally correct name. However, that was the assistant to the person who handles the GC BCs who said this. We have to wait until Monday to make sure we're back in for RENAP consideration b/c her boss has to sign off on the re-submission. Both the woman who handles the GC BC cases AND her boss were out of the office today. Of course. I'm told that once it's in, it goes to a different GC office for review and then returns to RENAP central. It doesn't sound very different from the process for BCs from other municipalities, does it? Sounds like we start the clock all over again, after 8 wks since the original submission. I'll let you know how it goes. Damaris
