HELP!

Here is the situation...we think Kate will come home on an IR-4 Visa, so here is my question...

On the I-864 I am confused about the adjusted gross income question #24. Seeing DH's income qualifies us and he is the petitioner, he is the only person who's income we are counting. However, we filed joint taxes. So, for his adjusted gross income, I just subtracted my income (from my W-2's) to come up with this number. Is this correct?

So, if he makes over 125% of the poverty level, I do not have to fill out the I-864A addendum right?

Why is she coming on an IR4? You both visited right? that qualifies you for an IR3 and that other form (with the "W" is easy...one page)

We both visited, BUT DH visited AFTER we got OUT of PGN. We got OUT on 8/18 and DH first visited Kate on 8/27. So for Kate to come home on IR-3 BOTH parents need to have seen her BEFORE the protocolo was signed by PGN. I have NO idea when that happened, but it could be close. Maybe we will get the IR-3, but I am not banking on it.

No, you do not fill out the addendum if you are above the 125% level of the poverty line. I'm thinking we put the adjusted gross income down from our most recent taxes. Hopefully I am not confusing you with this. Both times with my boys they didn't even look at the forms. The embassy is the easiest part of the process.
