I felt really honored to be able to vote and to take my son along with me. Even though at 18 months he does not understand what is happening, I am grateful, that as a Guatemalan, I am able to vote in this country's elections.

Finally Five (It isn't private anymore so you don't need a password to enter!) I don't care who my children support as long as they are active and know about what is going on! Some of our family laughed and rolled their eyes and say "I cannot believe you bought that!" I am for voting and making an informed choice....I cannot tell you how informed they are but they picked who they liked in late September/early October. As much as we tried to sway one...he wouldn't hear of it! I LOVE that about my boys. Once the pick a side...they stick with it. (We are also BROWNS FANS....so loyalty clearly matters in our family!) I hope everyone voted!

I do not have pictures of cuteness but I do have a fe one liners. I tutor and one of my 5th graders (who was adopted from Korea) said she did not want McCain to win because then she would not be the first women president. "He is old and well could die and then Palin would be the first woman president. So I want Obama to win"
My son came off the school bus and his first words yesterday were "Can you believe if he wins he will be the first African American President. You know that has never happened before." He spent 10 minutes discussing this with my neighbor. I love kids perspectives. He wanted to know what would happen with Bidens Senate seat since he is going to Vice president. I had to look it up and found the answer this morning. He was releaved when I told him how that works.

My son has the same t-shirt. I still need t get a picture of him in it. He wants to meet Arock Obama. As he calls him :-) He recognizes the signs and asked if he could meet him.
