I have both Angel's forms completed, copies of their COC... What else do they want? They say 2 forms of ID... Are they talking about my ID & Passort? Little Confused...

ANd last question... Angelo has been home for 8 months now, so can I send both Angelena's and His to the same place? What is the time period before sending it directly to NY?

In both our adoptions, we sent a copy of the COC, a copy of our daughters passport and Visa, a copy of DH drivers license and a copy of his passport (just the first page with the photo).

You need to send in two forms of ID for your child (copy of COC or Green card and copy of passport), two forms of ID for you (DL and passport) and a copy of the BC showing you as the parent that you have the right to the information.

It needs to go to the last office that took action on the case. In the case of an IR3 visa, it would be the Buffalo office that issued the COC. If it was an IR4 visa, it would be the office that issed the Green Card. If it was an IR4 and you have readopted and gotten a COC, it would be the office that issued the COC. (Usually your local office.)

After about 15 months of no action being taken on the case, most files make their way to the National Records Center in Lee's Summit MO for filing.
