We finally have a WALKER!
I just wanted to share with everyone. Our DD is finally walking. Whew!! She will be 2 in December and even though we were told not to worry, we were. Last Thursday night, she just took off and hasn't stopped since. I do have to say though, everyone who said "be careful what you wish for" was correct. I thought she was hard to keep up with before!

Yea!
We adopted our son domestically as a newborn and he didn't walk til he was 20 months old. Yes, we were worried. We didn't know any other kids who walked so late. He is now running around like a maniac, talking and doing everything an almost 2 year old should.
Some things got harder when he walked but a lot of things got easier. For instance, I can now set him on his feet next to me when I get him out of his carseat. I don't have to carry him everywhere and I don't have to drag a stroller everywhere (just on long walks). Congrats to your little one!!

Congratulations to you and your DD - as others have said, once you stop worrying about one thing, there's another to think about. That's the wonder of being a parent - we worry about our little ones even when they are no longer little. At least that's what my Dad keeps telling me! It's a lifetime treat.

Thanks for posting. My son is 16 months and not walking too. We have a walker and he doesn't know how to use it. I too worry if he will ever walk. He has low tone. Hope your daughter has a blast using the walker-go girl!!!
