Current status of Guatemala adoptions?
I apologize for not being more in the loop, as I haven't visited the forum for a handful of months. I understood that adoptions from Guatemala are effectively at a standstill. I saw a few current posts indicating Pink was received - are these for cases grandfathered in? Or is Guatemala opening back up?
My wife and I have casually talked about adoption again, and I just want to understand where things currently are. Again, sorry for being oblivious... Thanks, sespan

International adoptions from Guatemala are closed at this time and no one really knows when or if they will open again.
The pinks and other progress you see on the board are from cases that started prior to January of 2008.
