Kya Is Home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so overwhelmed! I can't believe my baby is sleeping in the other room! It's like the last 26 months don't even matter. All that matters is that she is here now and will be FOREVER!!!! The USE apt was a breeze! After we picked up her visa Thursday my husband said, "26 months and $35,000 all boiled down to 30mins and $400 bucks." We couldn't stop laughing about it.
My In laws and mom were waiting for us when we pulled up at the house. They had balloons and a big welcome home sign in the yard. We had more visitors stop by all evening. Kya did great! She ran to her room and scooped up all her dolls. She would show all her visitors her room with a huge grin on her face. It was so cute. She loved the company and went to anyone who came through the door...yes even the UPS man...lol! After everyone left, we gave Kya a bath and she went right out. She is sound asleep next to her daddy right now. I can't begin to say how overjoyed we are. We are so blessed to be mommy and daddy to this perfect little person. Thanks for letting me share, Julia

 Hoping to add to our family SOON!June 2006- First meeting with agency. Not married long enough, need to wait 1 year. March 2007- homestudy begins, but then put on hold for 1 year.  June 2008- Back in the saddle again September 2008- Homestudy approved, now just WAITING!!  February 2009- Presented with baby born situation, but declined based upon multiple issues.  September 2009- Expectant couple due in February is choosing between us and another couple.  November 2009- It's a match, and it's a BOY!
