pep o mint I think it was called?? Peppermint was the flavor. My grandmother gave me them all the time. I don't think she knew of any other flavor

I'm pretty sure it was pep-o-mint. The lifesaver building was in Port Chester. NY (there may have been others too) and they had HUGE life saver rolls on the outside of the building. LOVED driving by there as a kid.
