It is great to be home with the little guy I waited soooo long for!! Life with two kids is LOTS of fun. Joseph is very sweet, and his big brother is very excited he is finally here. Joseph seems to be adjusting just fine to life here in the states.

For those of you who recently brought your children home, was your child extra "clingy" or did your child seek out lots and lots and lots of physical touch?? If so, how did you deal with that? Did you enjoy it, or did it start to bother you?

Congratulations!!!!! He is a cutie! Just remember everyday will get better and it will take a few weeks for him to really start adjusting. 3 weeks from now will be better and then 6 weeks will even be better then 3. Just remember to take it day by day so that you do not get overwhelmed! rest as often as you can so you will be ready for what ever your little man needs from you. For me the constant touch at first was wonderful, then I started getting tired and exhausted!
So what ever you are feeling is normal! But just enjoy him!!!!!!!!!! Lots of Love!!!

Congrats!!! My son was not clingy and still isn't, but we had to deal with rage, anger, hitting etc. It subsided in a few months and each week was better. He still gets angry at times, but it is really toned down, and more acceptable behavior. He is going to be going to an adoption Psychologist in the next few weeks.

Welcome home! My youngest was very clingy for a few months, and it was difficult at times. When I wanted to reach for her and show physical affection, that's when she didn't want it... so it was frustrating. But, with times she's become more comfortable and confident. I'm sure you and your new son will find a happy medium!
