anyone readopt in New York or Long Island?
We hired a lawyer and began the process this summer. We paid our agency to do a post-placement visit and homestudy report. We got all of the other required stuff and our lawyer brought it to the Nassau County courts today, where the lady there said that our post-visit homestudy wasn't good enough....does this sound right?
