THEN, include a picture of your child at the time of referral and a picture of what they look like now. Please tell RENAP which municipality you are waiting for BC from.

Here is my letter...

Dear JCICS,

I am once again writing to express my concern over the delays that are occuring with birth certificates in Guatemala. Our children need to come home. At this point, Guatemala has deemed them our children, yet we are still experiencing delays getting our children home. To put this in perspective, here is a picture of our daughter Katelyn when we received her referral. She was 2 months old at the time of referral. I am also including a picture of Katelyn at 17 months. We have been waiting to bring her home for 15 months. 15 very long months.

This is our timeline. There are too many people with timelines this long and longer. Please advocate for our children. Please help us bring them home before we get caught in more delays!

7/6/07 Katelyn's referral received on her 2 month birthday!
7/17/07 Signed referral acceptance, POA, G-28
7/19/07 Submitted I-600A & I-600
7/31/07 Submitted Dossier for Authentication by Consulate
8/16/07 Fingerprints
8/21/07 POA FINALLY back from Consulate and DHL'd to Guatemala
8/24/07 Dossier FINALLY back from Consulate and DHL'd to Guatemala
9/6/07 USCIS issued I-171H
9/21/07 DNA authorized and in Family Court
11/8/07 DNA test and Social Worker Interview in Family Court
11/21/07 DNA is a MATCH
11/23/07 DNA at Embassy in Guatemala
11/07 OUT of Family Court
12/22/07 IN PGN

As you may remember I got my Mixco BC 2 wks ago after waiting 3 mos. They are keeping to tradition and now I am still waiting for Orange...still. I think this is a very effective and sad campaign. I hope you get that BC soon. We knew it was going to be rough but this is such abuse. I don't know you but you are in my thoughts every time I get on this forum. It is so unfair.

I just got the standard reply a couple weeks ago that everyone else got. We WILL NOT give up though. I am hoping they will start dreading Tuesdays and start giving us some answers!
