Casa El Jardin Orphanage
Does anyone have any first hand information on the Casa El Jardin Orphanage? Our daughter was taken from her foster mother Friday by PGN. She was placed in this orphanage. Our agency doesn't have any information other than the address and I was hoping someone here could maybe calm my fears of the unknown. Any information would be very much appreciated.

Pam, I have no experience with them but I do have several contacts I could ask if you could send me a little more info via pm. Hopefully you'll get someone who knows something!! Best wishes and I hope things get resloved and she can go back to her foster family!

If this is "Hogar El Jardin", I have some info since my daughter was moved to that hogar for about 10 months. I'll PM you.

DF NY Adoption #1: DS born 2/18/05; home 6/23/05  Adoption #2: DD DOB: 6/8/05, referral 6/22/05 to PGN with PA: 11/28/05 Investigation begins:1/06 DD moved to hogar from 4/06 until 8/07 2/8/08: Released from Investigations 2 yrs later!!!! 2/11/08: Back in PGN 9/5/08: OUT OF PGN!!!!  12/16/08: Embassy appt 12/19/08: HOME 3.5 yrs after referral but HOME at last! Merry Christmas!

My daughter was in El Jardin for 2 years. She came home at 6 and still has some memories. I also have returned and visited El Jardin. My daughter still talks about El Jardin -- positively. PM me if you have specific questions.
