I know I can rely on you guys to pray for hard situations anyday so here I am today asking for prayer for a family that is not related to adoption!

A friend of ours shot and killed himself yesterday leaving behind a wife, 4 year old son, and seven year old son! It's been a very difficult time for them since yesterday and the harder days are yet to come!!! They're completely uninsured and have no idea how they're going to pay for funeral expenses! I pray that folks around here will band together in this time of tragedy and help her out!!! PLEASE pray for them to have the strength and courage they need to get through this. God knows they will really need it!

Thanks so much for praying for them~ V told the children today and the oldest one who is 7 is just devastated!! We went in to clean up before they came home today which was a tough job, but man those kiddos couldn't possibly see anything like this!
He was an organ donor so they won't release his body for another 36 hours back to the family so we're not sure when the funeral plans will be. So for now we're looking into ways to reach out and help them cope as well as pay for the funeral expenses. Tomorrow I'll take a turn to prepare them some luch and take it over to them.
I know the hardest day is yet to come so thanks for praying for them and please continue to do so!

This family will DEFINITELY be in my prayers.
One of my dear friends committed suicide just 2 months ago. There are still days when I can't even bring myself to face the day. The "WHYS" are consuming.
I pray that this family finds peace, as I am still searching for it myself.

I will pray for this family. I know first hand how hard it is to lose a loved one to suicide. My wonderful husband shot and killed himself on April 6, 2008. It devastated the whole family especially my little Maci who was so close to her daddy. We all still cry almost daily for him. It is so hard to understand what makes a wonderful person get this low to do something like this. I pray this family will get lots of help and if they need someone to talk to they are welcome to pm me and I will do my best to help. October 4th is coming up and that would have been our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. People say that time will help but to me, it just gets harder.

Suzanne, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss and please feel free to email me if you ever need a listening ear! I can't even begin to fathom losing a family member like this because a friend is hard enough!
His youngest child wouldn't even go home today and cried and screamed when they suggested it so he was allowed to stay the night there!
The oldest is coping to say the least! And the wife is still beside herself!! This is so heartbreaking!
There is a light for them though because several of us are running a football pool here and on the two of them she'll make $1,000 to go towards the burial plot! Once these two are sold we're going to try to do two more since the plot is $2,000! At least this will ease the burden some! I'm racking my brain to do what I can to get them some funds because I think it'll help knowing they'll have the money to atleast give him a proper burial! It's times like this I am reminded how important it is to have enough insurance!!
