STILL no BC..... 3 months & counting
It's been 3 months and still no birth certificate. This is getting harder and harder to handle. As I pass each milestone - still without Maddy home, I am now looking at the one that I never thought possible - her first birthday!! Please tell me she will be home for her birthday!!!! I can't take much more of this!

I'm so sorry you're stuck. And I know a lot of other Coban families who are also stuck--you're all in my prayres.
For us, from BC to USE was 3 weeks and 4 days; less than one full month from BC to home forever. So if you get BC this coming week you could be in Guate with her and going to the embassy for her first birthday or even be home!! I really hope for SO MANY REASONS that you get your BC next week and she's with you on her birthday.

I'm sorry you and others have had such a long wait for the BC. Man, after waiting through PGN, this should be the easy part. I hope you get good news early next week and Julie's estimated timeline sees you at USE by her birthday. Even if you miss it (which I know will be heartbreaking), you'll celebrate when you are with her and know you'll have every birthday with her from now on. Keeping you in my prayers.

Right there with you. Out since June. I passes the first birthday milestone last month. I wish you better luck. This is beyond miserable.

 We just received word that our MIXCO BC was approved on Thursday after being submitted 7/15. It won't be ready for pick up until Tuesday. Today is our daughter's first birthday.  It is so hard. I pray that you get your BC very soon and that your daughter is home soon.

I'm so sorry that you're still waiting for a BC. Hope it comes very soon and that she's home in time for her birthday.
