Can you have your Guatamalan child baptized
on Nov. 2, The Day of the Dead? Anyone know how that is viewed?

I intent to baptize my son when he comes home. This would have to be after I get his US birth certificate, and change his name. Once you have the paperwork needed by the church it shouldn't be any problem.

The important day in Guate is Nov. 1st (Todos Santos) so you'll be fine with a Nov. 2 baptism (Nov. 2 is Mexico's big day).
