We decided instead of having a 1st Birthday, we would take the girls to our special place - Yellowstone! We decided in Mid-Sept. 2006 while visiting Montana and Yellowstone that we were going to adopt (trying out of the blue!). WHAM it hit us instantly!! The week we came home, we found an agency and had our first social worker visit within 5 days.
When Alex came into our lives we knew her name would honor our special place. For those that haven't experienced Montana or Wyoming's Big Sky, find time to head west!

PS Wish us luck...Flying from Fort Lauderdale to Salt Lake City via Dallas/Fort Worth and then lcose to a 6hr drive to West Yellowstone MT in one LONG day

How special!

We love Yellowstone, too! We took our girls for the first time last summer. (link to my blog post about our trip) Our newest addition (at that time), our Guatemalteca, wasn't even walking!

Love it, years ago we went when my sister was working out there. We had the best of accommadations and got to go where tourists were not allowed, have a great time.

I love Wyoming and Montana - and especially "The Park" as my family calls it. My second home is Montana as alot of my family lives there.

I have been to the park during every season and would go there every vacation given the chance. My DH would move there in a heartbeat. I would move only if I had a winter home here in South Florida.
