2nd DNA completed!!
Finally some consistent movement...I still keep re-reading the email stating the 2nd DNA test was completed today. My agent said that it should be at the Lab next Tuesday...seems so far away!! Our Lab is Clinical Testing and Research, Inc. located in NJ. Anyone hear of them?? Hope they move as quick as some of the other places I hear about on this forum :-)
The only stress is our fingerprints expire on the 16th of Sept. We DID get them re-done over a month ago...it just is taking forever to get that approval letter. My home-study coordinator has a call into CIS to hopefully move things along. Any idea on our appointment date? Praying before the 16th... Thanks!! Tracey

YEH, So you are two days behind us. It seems as though our attorney may have slowed down a bit since she was paid. We will probably end up in Guatemala at the same time. I did get your pm. I was thinking we would stay at the Marriott, but we have know plans yet. I would love to book it though!!

Gosh! I do think you are looking at either the week of the 15th or the week of the 22nd for your appointment. It all depends on how long it takes for that DNA to get back to Guatemala. You could make the 16th, but it's going to be tight. Good Luck!!

I would get packing..see our timeline below. We didn't get informed of a few steps and had just days to book flight, hotel and pack. And, we had a hard time getting a hotel with a good rate. So maybe guess a few weeks out from passport and book a hotel so you are where you want to be. I know the Marriott pool was not open earlier this week, not sure why or for how long. We stayed at the Westin. Congrats and happy planning and traveling.

Hi! Just wanted to get in on this thread because it sounds like our timeframes might be similar. We received word of our orange slip on 8/27 (not sure when the slip was dated). No news yet on whether or not our DNA sample has been collected, but it was good to see someone else who had orange around the same time we did and *might* be traveling around the same time as us.
COME ON PINKS!!!!

I agree! It is very nice to see others at the same step. We got word that our DNA will most likely be at the Lab on Tuesday, because Mon. is a holiday. I have no idea how long it will take after that... LETS GO PINK!!!!!
