Question Help On Mural Suggestions For Hogar

Ok during my next trip to Guatemala I'll be painting some murals on the walls of a new orphange site. The themes are completely up to me, but I'm having trouble deciding on what to do in the rooms!!
The babies are all together in the same room as well as the toodlers in both genders.
The older girls and boys are seperated so I need to know what would be the best characters to paint!!
Here's some I thought of:
infant/toddler room Winnie the Pooh, Care Bears, Thomas the Train, Dora, Diego
girl's room: Barbie, My Little Pony, Spring type scene with flowers, Princess with Castle
boys room: Super Heros (Spiderman, Batman, Hulk), Automobile theme (trains, planes, cars)

I'm not sure the ages of the older kids who share a room, but if it's all of them above toddler hood then they range in age from 5-16. This is a HUGE age difference and I may be wrong but i need some suggestions. Help me decide because I need to make sure to have all the paints and things before I leave in a little over three weeks! I'm open to ALL suggestions!! Tell me what your kids enjoya nd about their rooms!

Deja vu. LOL. The baby room should be pretty easy because they don't really care what it is as long as it's bright colors. I'd go with a Pooh Bear scene there. For the older girls, I like flowers, butterflies, and fairies. The boys, I would definitely go with the super hero theme. I sometimes get my ideas from coloring books...... I wish I could come and help. Good luck!!

How about this?

Noah's Ark is always a safe bet and is very gender neutral and could be painted more detailed for the older kids and more general for the younger kids.

I would suggest something without characters as it is timeless.

Girl's Flowers, Bugs, Sunshine, Fairies
Boy's Tree, pond, frogs, animals,
Toddler Rooms Animals Animals Animals Fish or Underwater Scene

Just wondering--are these playrooms or bedrooms? I'd think for bedrooms you'd want slightly quieter colors and scenes than for playrooms. Not necessarily sleepy, but just not bright active scenes.

I also agree that if characters can go out of date, so if you do them stick to the classic ones that have been around for at least 30-40 years with minimal changes. Winnie the Pooh and friends, Mickey & friends, Sesame street, classic comic book super heros, etc.

For the little ones, maybe a pond theme with bright lily pads, frogs, dragonflies, some fish under the water, flowers around the bank, a family of ducks, etc.

For the girls, love the fairies idea in a huge floral setting.

For boys, maybe a big soccer stadium with lots of fun stuff happening on the field and in the stands. And of course with the hogar team winning!

If you're looking for timeless for the baby room, Winnie the Pooh has been around since 1926.

So I think the fairies are a great one!! I also LOVE Winnie the Pooh and Mrs. Gloria, who is traveling with me, already has some GREAT scenes she sketched out so I think this one wins for the baby room!!

Do you think the entire room should be Winnie or if it's sectioned off should this be on the baby side and maybe something else on the toddler side? This is their new site and I've only seen the old one! Oh and this is the children's bedrooms! I'd like to do the play area but it's not done yet!! Maybe next trip

Jungle theme for the boys' room. Including stuffed animals, a monkey hanging from the corner, a snake wrapped around a bedpost, and shelves that look like tree swings, but are stationary. Tree trunks that are corkboards. Geckos, tree frogs...

Butterflies & huge flowers for the girls. Include butterflies hanging from the ceiling in various places. You can get very large wallpaper cutouts of butterflies or flowers online. Maybe some beads or woven grass at the doorway.
