While not my preferred way, it is possible to use the restroom in an airplane while holding an infant/toddler.

I honestly think it is more challenging to change a messy diaper in a airplane restroom with no changing table. Last time I tried it, Gabe performed his impression of a fountain...all over me. The joys of parenthood!

You'll be fine regardless, but a helping hand is always nice.

We always used the elevator when at the GC airport, even when it was me and my empty stroller coming home from a visit trip.
It is an elevator primarily for airport employees, but all I had to do was ask.
There is an elevator man/woman who rides with you.
I found traveling alone WAY easier than I thought.
When I came home with Kate I had a stroller, med. size diaper bag and a backpack for all travel documents, money, etc.
I let the hotel guy get my stuff off of the shuttle and then accepted the help of the guys at the airport (had tip ready in my pocket).
I travel with a TON of stuff and always managed to get it where it needed to be.
Good Luck and have fun.
