I am so very sorry you had to stand and hear those words. I like to say people like that will say such things need a filter attached to their mouth that can protect the rest of us from their ignorance. You spoke the truth - you were not rude.

That was so extremely rude, nasty and out of tone of that woman to say that!!

Hope that no one here on this board who has ever been pregnant and had bio. children get upset, but, it seems to me like some women, - and this is just from judging comments from women from other threads I have read -, seem to look at other women who were never able to get pregnant, that they are not "complete women". Again, I have read sad stories from girls who are to feel less than normal women simply because they could not get pregnant.

This woman's remarks were out of line. To me it almost sounded as if to make fun of the teacher because she was adopting since she could not have a bio. child. Some people here may see it from a different point of view. Of course it is also possible that she just didn't know which words to use but still, telling someone, Which of the two of you is broken? means as if one of them is defective. Some of us are simply not blessed with a pregnancy but that doesn't make us less than a woman who can actually get pregnant and have a biological child.
