I am just curious who is going to the Guatoberfest in Myrtle Beach in Oct? We are going to be there with our 3 kids. We will be the 2 parents who are not very tall (me 5'1 petite and people do not believe I am a mom I look young, but I will be GASP 34yrs. on 10/22, my husband 5'3 and a bit older than me) and my 3 beautiful toddlers who all are Mayan and everyone thinks they are biologically related, but they are not. Everyone thinks our girls are twins and they get the girls confused. Our son just turned 2yrs. on July 31, our daughter Joseline just turned 4yrs. on Aug. 15 and our daughter Ella will be 3 on Aug. 22. So, you can see my kids are all about a year apart in age and keep us on our toes! We live in MD and will have a bit of drive to get us to Myrtle Beach, but thankfully we have a DVD player in our minivan to keep the little ones from getting too bored. Plus, I think we are leaving the day before the Guatoberfest starts to drive half way and make it an easier drive for all of us. LOL I am looking forward to meeting the families and of course meeting everyones beautiful children. So, let's hear who is going to be there!

I am not familiar with Guatoberfest. Can anyone fill me in? We are only a couple of hours drive from Myrtle Beach, so we could possibly come. When is it? Where is it? What is it?

I have 2 daughters, Victoria & Sofia, and we are already excited about the weekend!

There will be about 75 other adoptive families there and it will be a BLAST! A great opportunity to spend the weekend with old friends & meet new ones, too!

I just sent in my registration check!

I'll be there with my 2 1/2 year old daughter. Our 1st "gotcha day" is the day after the Fest so it will be a special event for us.

I'll be the fat 46 year old whitey with the cute little girl.

I'm driving down from Maryland too! I plan on splitting up the drive down and do most of the first part in the evening. Hopefully Iva will sleep during most of it?!?!

We are going. We have booked our hotel but have not sent in our registration fee yet. This is our first year with our daughter so it will be our first year going. I am looking forward to meeting other Guat families.

We are driving too. All the way from Indiana so it will be a long trip.

We want to go but don't know if we can swing it financially.....Two adoptions in a year has zapped our vacation funds.... We won't know until closer to time.

We will be there. We'll be the older parents in the group. I hit 47 last month and dh just hit 46. Lili is 1 and came home in March so this will be our first Guatoberfest. I can hardly wait to meet all my forum friends in person.
