OT Nice adoption story
There's a rather nice article written by an adult adoptee in the new September Ladies Home Journal (Dr. Phil on the cover). She meets and forms a relationship with her birth mother and father, but is very clear on her complete love and devotion to her mom who raised her. Her adoptive mom and family are her mom and family. I know some of us are sometimes upset by some of the things we come across written by adoptees in other forums and wonder how our children will feel about their adoptions when they are adults. I found the article reassuring.
