"Sealed Envelope" Question

I have checked the other threads and have found the form needed to request the return of the documents in the sealed envelope. My question is... How do I know which office to send it to? We flew home through Houston and live in Michigan. Someone suggested the NY office. Where do you find the address?

You send it to the last office that took action on the case. If your child came home on an IR3 visa, you need to send the G884 to the Buffalo NY office that issued the COC. If your child came home on an IR4 visa, you need to send it to the whichever office last took action on the case. The office that issued the Green Card, or, you have already adopted and got a COC, the office that issued the COC. (Usually your local office.)
