I am planning another get together for anyone in the NC and SC who would like to come. Last time we had a great time meeting near Carowinds at the Latino themed mall. The kids all loved the huge play ground!

Please let me know which Sat. in Sept will work the best for you. And also if you can meet somewhere in Charlotte, NC area or Columbia, SC area. I am thinking about the zoo in Columbia. I am open for suggestions for the Charlotte area.

I think the Zoo in Columbia would be fun for our kiddo's. It should be cooler in Sept. too!

We're in Charleston and would love to visit the Columbia zoo with our daughter and meet you guys, but we're still waiting on her birth certificate to bring her home. DH's birthday is Sept 13 and we are praying she will be home by then, or that we'll be in Guatemala for our pick-up trip.

Ann, I wish you could come too! I guess we have our Place. Columbia Zoo it is! Now we need to choose a date. My Sept. is open too! Now we need to choose a date. I really want Teresa to come so we all can meet Zane so I am thinking either the last Sat's.

OOH! I'm IN! No plans in September yet, but we need to check the calendar for a USC home game. Traffic is MURDER on I-26 when a game is in town ... even for a team as bad as the gamecocks! bwahahahaha (laughs a tiger fan!)

eta: Sept 4 is the only away game for USC. If we're really set on September, I would pick that day. The next two weekends I wouldn't drive to columbia on a saturday if you paid me to do it ... they play GA and Wofford. The last weekend I'm not sure about .. they play UAB. But USC games tend to sell out no matter who they're playing, and it's too early in the season for them to start leaving at halftime. { :-) I just crack myself up}

The first saturday in October is also an away game ... Oct 4. I really want Theresa and Zane to be there, too, so any takers for October? Oct 4th or 11th should be good, since both are away games. And Oct 11 the state fair will be in town, in case any of you are in good enough shape to tackle the zoo AND the fair in one day. I love caramel apples and funnel cakes, but not enough to try to do both places in one day.

We will be there!!! The only Saturday that doesn't look good for me is September 13th as I will be coming back from Guatemala. I am going on a Mission Trip. We are in the process of looking for the birthfamily. If they are located I may get to meet them while I am there.
