My DH was the SAHP for the first four years (now it's my turn
 ) and bonding hasn't been a problem. As PackGirl mentioned, preferences change depending on personalities, moods and events. In general (at least lately), for  DS prefers me and DD prefers DH. And that could change in the next minute.Congratulations on your decision. Enjoy!
