Steven Curtis Chapman and his family are scheduled to be on Good Morning American tomorrow (Tuesday, Aug. 5th) and on Larry King Live on Thursday, Aug. 7th to talk about the loss of their daughter, Maria.

I already set my DVR to record these. I plan to have a box of tissues near by when I watch.

There is also going to be a story in People magazine released on Aug 13.

Yes...the airing was changed to the 6th. My DH, DS and I just returned from seeing him in concert down at Biltmore. He is an amazing man!! I was humbled and speechless by the love, trust and faith he has in God, as well as the immense LOVE he has for his family. It was a fabulous and spiritual evening. I definitely walked out of his concert a different person.

Wow... just a mere two minutes of video, but the grief and sadness is palpable. I could hardly watch that without tears in my eyes. Their strength is so amazing and also very apparent.

I read this on SCC's site - that he changed the lyrics to Cinderella:

his hit "Cinderella," a song written about Maria and her sisters, for which Chapman is also now changing the poignant last line in life performance to "'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight/But the truth is... The dance goes on."

I am so grateful that they are sharing their story and the hope that they have that through the midst of tragedy, God is still on the throne and Jesus is still their Savior. I am sure that they would never have wanted this publicity, but such good can come from it as they openly share their faith.

All of his albums are good. But...I personally love the latest (Cinderella version). Perhaps because my compassion for the family is so strong right now...but I was listening to it this morning as I drove for sales calls and found myself tearing up at many songs. Go to his website and read about the latest album. I don't think you can be disappointed!

OH...also, he is joining Michael W Smith (one of my other all-time favorites!) for a joint concert (United Tour) this fall. They will be in ATL on 10/17 (my hometown) but tix aren't on sale yet. If anyone is planning to go, pm me!!! We will be there!

His newest one is REALLY good!!!! My three year old son always wants me to play "his" song- "You are Being Loved". We have a lot of fun just dancing around together. My big guys like "Crazy". I actually have his "Miracle of the Moment" song on my blog-
