Mikayla had her TUBE surgery today
Thanks everyone for your advice a few weeks ago about this. We were blessed that a great friend of mine, one I met on this forum actually, was able to get us an appointment at a FABULOUS ENT super quick and today was Mikayla's surgery! We were thrilled by the DR and staff as they took amazing care of her.
Mikayla "fought" going under and had to be given some "extra" which made for a rough coming-out time. She has been cranky and out of it all day, crashing into things and dizzy. I think she will sleep great tonight and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Her surgery was at 8AM this morning. Thanks again for all the advice...she did pretty well and the DR said her ears were full of fluid. So this was the route we needed to take FOR SURE. And as a THANK YOU...here are some pics of her taken yesterday. HUGS

She is a doll! Let us know if her speech takes off...my son's did once that fluid was out and he could actually hear.

She's adorable!
I'm sorry she's had such a rough day, but really--she'll be SO much better now!! That fluid just wreaks havoc on them. Connor had his tubes in just shy of his 1st bday and it helped him tremendously! Then on Aug 11th, Cristian's having them put in, too. I just wish they could do it sooner!

Petition to be filed with CNA tomorrow!  2/10-'old' atty won't release our file...w/out PAYING a fee! So much for release of liability  2/16-Agree to pay file ransom 4/29-File FINALLY given to new atty 5/19-CNA officially approves us to begin adoption; accepts dossier NOW MORE HOOPS

I sure hope Mikayla is feeling better today. My Niece and Nephew have had this procedure done and it really helped.

Mindy, I can not believe how big she is getting! She is as adorable as always and I hope she starts coming around soon!
