OT so sad about Randy Pausch
I just saw that he lost his battle with pancreatic cancer today. What a great man! Wishing his family peace at this difficult time

I've been following this closely, especially since my dad died of pancreatic cancer one year ago last Tuesday. Not only was Randy Pausch an inspiration on how to live life to the fullest, but he devoted much of his last year to educating people on pancreatic cancer. He was an amazing man and he will be missed.

I am so sad. What an inspirational man. I cried every time I heard him speak. I never tire of his lecture. The world is a better place having had him in it. My prayers are with his wife and young children.

I agree that the world is a better place because he lived in it. I will always remember him and his words like so many others will. What an incredible man. I hope his wife and kids get the support they will need.

I have been following his battle also, and am just now reading his book...I am so sad, but what a legacy he has left behind....

His book was one of my Mother's Day presents. I just cherish his wonderful advice, caring thoughts and wisdom.
What a neat guy. I am so sorry that he is gone much too soon. And if my kids tell me they want to paint their room, I'm going to let them.

I haven't read his book yet, but saw him on a number of talk shows - truly inspiring. If anyone has a place in heaven, I would guess it's him.
