we have been home for 2 weeks. It feels like he has been with us forever. I don't mean that in a bad way, he just fits in so well with our family. His adjustment is beyond great. We have not had any problems at all yet. He knows I am his Mama and DH is Papa. I was worried about the car seat issue, but he loves it and even helps me buckle him in. He sleeps in his crib, which he has never done before. He loves his wowo (Dog) and his meowmeow (cat). Unfortunatley wowo and meowmeow don't like him. His is such a cuddler. He is so smart and amazes us each day. The plane ride home was great. He loves planes and was so amazed by them. He did not sleep on the 3 hour flight, but was an angel, and he slept the entire 1 hour flight. I was so worried about a very active 18 month old being couped up for 3 hours, but once again he amazed us. The 18 months of waiting was sooo worth it and I would do it again in a hearbeat. Everyone who said when you finally get your child home the waiting and pain and frusteration will disappear were right. So those of you who are still waiting you are in my prayers and believe me you will look back and say that wasn't so bad. I would post a pic, but I can't figure out how. When I figure it out I will post some.

Wonderful!! I am so glad to hear this. Our son tunrs 18 mos this weekend and will not be home for at least another 2 months, most likely, so hearing your story brings hope!

So glad to hear the transition is going well for you!! I love hearing updates from parents who are home with their little ones!

I'm going to attach a pic of Abe here and try to walk you through it (please forgive me if I am patronizing..)

1. Click on the paper clip, choose the first browse button, and choose the picture you want to attach. Then click upload. The file needs to be 100kb or smaller. Click "Close this window."
2. Now you should be back to the message composition window. Scroll down to "Additional Options" and under "attach files" you should see a link to the picture you just uploaded.
3. Go back to the message window where you are typing your message and click on the little paper clip again. The file name should be there too. Click on it and the attachment will be added to your message wherever your cursor is.

I am so happy to hear that it was an easy transition, espcially with a baby over one-year! MANY of us are in that same boat and are praying that things will be smooth. Thank you for posting such a positive message and reminding us that someday we WILL have our children home.
