Final adoption decree?
In order for my husband to get the adoption credit from his employer we need a copy of the final adoption decree. What document would this be, does anyone know? Maybe it says "final adoption decree" on it and I'm just missing it? Does anyone know?

It says Protocolo on it.
I would submit that along with the English translation of the new birth certificate. Each municipality is different but it should have the name of the town, and then list you and your husband as parents.

I have the same problem
I have spoken with my agency and they still have not been able to get it from the attorney. They said a lot of times they reciee it after the adoption is complete even though the attorney has it already. You need to check with your employer and see if it needs to be translated to english because it will be in spanish.

Our says "Protocolo" and we received it when our Guatemalan Agent took us to the embassy.
