Hi! You freaked me out a bit on the blog. I saw your note there first and since you knew about Dmitry's teddy graham obsession when he was little I knew you had to know me. I kept thinking you are the only person I ever knew with your first name.

We brought Rylee home 8/06. She will be 3 in September. It took almost a year.
You know your adoption of Dmitry was the first International Adoption I had ever heard of. As soon as my husband and I decided to adopt I referred back to the "Precious" site and started my research on our adoption. You were quite an influence! Do you ever see or talk to Melissa anymore? I do talk to Missy. She and I are still close but since I am a SAHM with two kids we don't get together a ton. I had just talked to her yesterday. She makes fun of me for having a blog and I make fun of her use of the word Fancy. So not much has changed.

It's funny, I have met a handful of people who went on to adopt after meeting Dmitry. He is a walking bilboard for the miracle of adoption.

Sophia took a year and a half. It was a long adoption, just like Dmitry's.
