Is it a bad sign when..
before bedtime, you're singing bible songs along with one of those little push-button musical books and your almost 3 yo nonchalantly plugs her ears? She didn't say anything, she just plugged her ears and let me continue. However, I gotta tell you, I think she was glad when I was done. I didn't think I was that bad...
 So, am I to assume that I will not be asked to sing the next children's hit song?

Hee hee! My kids haven't plugged their ears yet, but DS sometimes says in a very whiney voice "Nooo mom, don't sing that!" I sing all. the. time. and make up songs for things as I'm doing them. I don't sing well at all, but it's hilarious to watch their reactions. Keep singing--the torment will be fun for you!

That's hilarious!!
Maria does the same thing when I dance. I get started and less than 15 or 20 seconds into it, she tells me...NO, NO, NO!! NO Dance Mama!! It's too funny. The longer I keep doing it, the louder her objections become!!

Julian will just scream "NO" when I am singing something and he doesn't like it. And if I don't stop he'll yell "STOP!" He's been doing that since 20 months.

My girls have started plugging their ears to show mock defiance. I have no idea where they got that from.
My kids think I am a great singer. My older DD will wag her head back and forth and even applaud at the end of the song. They think I'm a gourmet cook, too. They obviously have a lot to learn.

Never even filed 11/5-prior atty wants to "check" on us.Tells new atty he was never pd by agency! Agrees to give our file IF we release him of all liab  1/6/09-rec the real COA! Petition to be filed with CNA tomorrow! 2/10-'old' atty won't release our file...w/out PAYING a fee! So much for release of liability  2/16-Agree to pay file ransom 4/29-File FINALLY given to new atty 5/19-CNA officially approves us to begin adoption; accepts dossier NOW MORE HOOPS

Wow , I would actually say you were pretty good if your DD is 3 and just now plugging her ears. My DD ask me " Mommy, no sing" when she was about 18mo and @ 2 changed it to "Mommy, please don't sing" and now says, " I will sing by myself, thank you"
 Teehee! Sadly, I love to sing but now I do it while driving to work alone! Occasionally she will let me sing along w/ her but I notice she increases her volume to drown me out!
