A friend of a friend is in PGN with a sibling group of 3 and has paid out the entire attorneys fee for the group and the facilitator now wants another $30,000. They called me to ask if I had any ideas. I don't except maybe Adoption Supervisers can help??? Does anyone know if this is something they might be able to help with? Or has anyone had the same experience and figured out how to resolve the issue?

Also, I would like to give them the number for Adoption Supervisors.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I feel so bad for all of you stuck in this mess and can't imagine how this family must feel about the possibility of losing these children and then wondering what may happen to them if they can't complete the adoption.

This is interesting - so she used an in-country facilitator and not an agency? You don't say how long they have been in PGN, if the children are in foster homes though $30k does seem outrageous. Did the facilitator tell your friend why the need for extra $$ and what it would be spent on? Something a little fishy here - IMO.
