Question Pack N Play Purchase in Guatemala?

Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase a pack 'n play in Guatemala? I have someone who wants to send one for Baby Alex (and his soon to be born sibling) but I don't want it to count as one of my pieces of luggage.

I didn't know if it might make more sense to just purchase it down there if they have them.

Thanks,

Kim

Hi there,

I know they have them in one of the shops in the mall that's attached to the Grand Tikal hotel where I stayed. I'm sure they would be available in a number of stores.

Good luck!

There is a department store there at all the malls that has baby items like pack n plays called Simans. They also have cribs, strollers, car seats, you name it. They are very Americanized and have English speaking staff members.

Good luck!!

Hiper Paiz is INCREDIBLE! You'll feel like your right at home.... seriously! This place is just like Walmart and you'll find everyone VERY nice and helpful. They do take credit cards, but don't always trust that the machines are working.
We stayed at the Marriott (which is only a mile or so away from Hiper Paiz). We had the phone number for Victor Lopez with so we called him to escort us there. He wasn't available as he was on a tour with some other families, so he sent a friend of his who runs errands like this. He spoke great English and escorted us through the entire store.
You can get everything you need there, just like at home!
