Make room, Copa gang...
Make room in the Copa Club. I move in tomorrow. On "independence" day. Don't you looooove irony?
I was afraid that last week's news of my file being ready was too good to be true, but I got my stupid hopes up anyway. Nothing has happened this week. One source says the file is signed and just needs to be released--and had heard it could happen as soon as this past Tuesday. No such luck. My agency says it's awaiting signature and maybe that will happen sometime after next week. I'm just so tired of getting hopes up and then being told that nothing has happened. No need to make room at the bar. I'll content myself with pacing back and forth. Bartender, keep 'em coming.

as a side note: how does one know when they're in the COPA club? Do we go by the date we were first submitted? or from the date of the last re-submit?
