I only like Milk chocolate. Just a plain old Hershey's bar will do for me.

My Dh is a chocoholic - which does not make it easy for my diet (he always has to have trader joe's dark choc covered raisins, or pistachio nuts in the house. Always). He does not believe that white chocolate counts as "real" chocolate (which means I get all the white choc peices in any asssortment). Our favorite is definitely dark chocolate!

mmmmm...the darker, the better.

Sheri--try Trader Joe's sugar-free dark chocolate. YUM! (but only eat a square or two per day--unless you were planning to spend the day in your bathroom anyway. lol)

The chocolate kind. I'll eat any of it -light, dark, white. Although the uber dark ones are a little too much for me and sometimes white is a little too sweet for me.

Dove's dark chocolate is divine without putting a dent in the pocketbook. Hershey's Bliss is a close 2nd. Hmmm, I have both in the house. This seems as good a time as any for a taste test!!

I couldn't agree with you more! And actually, white chocolate isn't chocolate at all -- just sweet white buttery-consistency stuff. Does anyone know why they call it "white chocolate?"

I love Lindt dark chocolate truffles. And Dove dark chocolate. And anything from See's covered in dark chocolate Getting hungry... between this thread and the ice cream thread I'm going to gain five pounds this week!

From a little research, it appears that even though it doesn't contain cocoa solids or chocolate liquor it does contain cocoa butter and thus gets the name chocolate. Though different countries have different rules that do or don't allow it to be marketed as chocolate.

Dark chocolate is my absolute fave, though if offered, I'll eat just about any chocolate.

Oh... I know the dark chocolate is supposed to be better for you... but I LOVE my milk chocolate. Especially with a nice glass of cabernet after a hard day.

Mmmmmm.

Ahhhh, hence the "buttery" consistency. Hmmm... instead of throwing out those last few pieces of white chocolate in the box (since everyone ate the dark and milk chocolates in the assortment first) I guess you could use them as a moisturizer? (and now, back to MommytoEli's thread about beauty products....)

Thank you Debbie for the research!
