I need the support of my forum friends. I feel like I am really at the end of my patience. I am now in the quicksand club...over 200 days in...and it's just too much!!!! We were told when Barrios was still in office that we were waiting for "final signature" and we have been resubmitted since Feb. 15th and NO kick-outs, so what is going on??? Also, my agent said he heard from the attorney last Friday and was told my file should be ready on Tuesday. Well, Tuesday came and went AND I have yet to hear back with any news. That is cruel. At least tell me something...anything?? Also, I (we) decided not to visit our daughter through this process (for many reasons), but now I am not sure if that is a mistake. I never thought it would take this long. Everyday COULD be THE DAY for our OUT...and honestly it is wearing me down!! I need my baby home
Thanks for listening. I know so many of you are in the same situation (even worse!). It's just NO person on the face of this earth "gets it" quite like you guys!!

I've btdt in pgn for 314 days... so I sympathize with you on the cruel wait. All I can say is (if you pray, keep praying) and just know it is coming soon.

I spent a lot of time there. We did not even get DNA before our DD was a year old. Then 280 some days in PGN. It is truely a heavy load. I kept holding on that there had been many times it looked like our adoption would not "make it". Each time it did and finally we are out. It is very sad that something that should be so wonderful can hurt so much. Keep hanging on. We are all here for you. Blessings Karen

Tracey, I know every day we are in PGN is horrible. I am hoping and praying that you get some good news soon. It is your turn to get OUT! I wish our agency was more forthcoming with information as well, but sometimes I think they don't know the answers either. Today could in fact be the day!

((hugs)) I know that hopeful dispair, too. I got so sick of going to my weekly meetup with a playgroup every Monday and someone would say "any news?" and I'd say "no, nothing. But we're really hopeful about this week. I think this may be it..." and then the next monday I'd be eating my words. 29 weeks straight.


It has to be your time--it's past your time!--and I pray you get your OUT with the next release of files! (which better be today--d'ya hear me PGN?!)

I sypathize with you. I wake up in the morning hopeful, hitting my refresh button on my email constantly. Then evening rolls around and I feel really sad knowing it wasn't our day and I just can't wait to go to bed to start the next day. And the cycle repeats. It is so wearing and tiring and I am so sick of telling people we still don't know when he is coming home. You just feel like your file is lost in a big stack somewhere. It is even harder seeing everyone's OUTs lately. I am happy for them and it does bring us one step closer as well, but it is still hard. I hope you get your OUT today!!! You deserve it.
