We do Horizons organic milk and it is almost 6.00 a gallon. I try to get it at Kroger because they sell the gallon for just under 6.00 but the half gallons at Walmart are about 3.75 a half a gallon.

I am trying to cut groceries we spend way too much, I like to cook and like it to be good tasting healthy food but my grocery bill has jumped over a hundred dollars in the last year.

Milk here is typically $4.19 a gallon and we go thru at least 3-4 gallons per week. Once in a while I will see the sign at cvs saying milk is on sale for 3.99 so I go there instead. I can't believe how expensive it is. We try to eat healthy but sometimes it has to be mac cheese and hamburger or pbjs for dinner.

I watch the weekly ads and go to whatever store has milk on sale that week. I don't pay more than $2.99/gallon. That is for skim white milk. However, Emmi's a chocolate milk lover and I buy a gallon of that per week too. I watch the ads and don't pay more than $3,99/gallon. So, we go through 2 gallons per week of chocolate and regular. We live in AZ.

If you go to the Horizon website, you can print a couple of coupons off for the milk. It helps a lot!!!
