Disney experts - ticket help?
Hi! We're heading to Disney in July (crazy, I know
We are staying in our own rental home and in the past I have purchased annual passes because we were using the home much more throughout the year, but over the last year we let them lapse. I am now traveling with my friend and her 6 yr. old son, with my 6 yr. old son - just us and the boys! Hubbies and my youngest are staying home.We want to do Anim. Kingdom and MK for sure - and 2 days of Sea World and their new water park. Sea World is easy - if you buy one ticket you get the 2nd day free, so the plan is to do the park one day, and water park on day 2. For the AK and MK days, we are on the fence about doing park hopper or one park per day. We were actually thinking of buying those tickets on the day of, at the kiosks in front of the park, so we can decide that day on our mood, and whether or not we think we'll head back at night for fireworks or parades...if so then we'll do the park hoppers. I know we can get tickets at the park, at Disney Stores, and we are also Triple "A" members and Costco members. Any advice on where to get the best priced tickets? If it's better to order ahead, we'll do so. Is it the same price to buy them at the parks the morning of? Either at the counters or kiosks? Does anyone know? Thanks ![]()

I know it's not the same, but I just purchased tickets for Cedar Point on Craigslist and saved $55 for a family of 5. You should definitely try craigslist or ebay for tickets as you will save lots of money!!!!!!!

Thanks! I found out tickets are the same price whether you buy ahead from Disney, Disney stores, or at the kiosks/counters at the parks. I will call Triple A tomorrow to see if they still offer member discounts.

We were at WDW in May and I bought our tickets through Disney World Tickets, Orlando Dinner Shows and other Orlando area discount tickets
They had a promo - buy a 4 day pass, get the 5th day free. They can mail the tickets to you AND THEY WILL MATCH ANY ADVERTISED PRICE!! I just mentioned another website and they immediately marked them down, no questions asked. Many of the other websites CLAIM they are the cheapest - but they don't include tax in their tickets until you buy them. Maple Leaf's quotes include tax. I researched it TO DEATH... so let me save you some time - go to their website and then call them to order the tickets. Also - if I did it again I would NOT get the park hopper. We forced ourselves to go to more than one park a day ONLY because I paid more for the park hoppers. With our 2 year old and 6 year old, we didn't really like Animal Kingdom. There just aren't many rides for them to ride there. It seemed like a big, HOT, crowded zoo with lots of rides taunting my kids, but they weren't big enough to ride. Even in the Dinoland, there were some rides that looked like they were for kids, but my son was still too short. (he is about 44") He could ride Everest (there's NO WAY he'd ride that!!) but he couldn't ride the little kiddie dinosaur roller coaster. I don't get it. Oh - and in July, I hear that there aren't many animals out since it is so hot. I wish we would have gotten passes to the Disney Water Parks. They looked fun - especially on those hot days. And - I wish I would have built in a whole day JUST for hanging out at the pool. It would have saved us $$ and my kids had the best time just swimming! Who'd a thunk it?! And, sorry lcikra00 but I would NEVER buy tickets on EBay to WDW. I hear that some people sell their used tickets on there, BUT they have finger scanners now at the parks, so if your finger print doesn't match the first person who used the ticket, you don't get in. Its just not worth it, when there are reputable ticket brokers out there who are legit. WDW costs a lot - there's not much getting around it. BUT - a little tip: take a cooler in with you to any of the WDW parks with Lunchables for the kids and sandwiches for the adults and water and juice for everyone. You'll save a TON of money! They DO allow coolers (there are size restrictions, but who wants to haul around a huge cooler anyway?) But SeaWorld does NOT allow them. Oh - BTW, Sea World was our FAVORITE!! PM me if you want any other tips. I got a lot of my good info from other people on this forum!!

Thanks everyone! Probably no options for buy one get one free. We only need 2 days of Disney tickets, as we're staying 4 days and doing Sea World for two. But I'll check out Maple Leaf! Thanks!
