Carryforward Tax Credit Question
The tax credit increased from $10,960 to $11,930, from 2006 to 2007. If you are carrying forward credit from 2006, does your carry forward increase too?
ie our carry forward from 2006 was $1,000, do we claim $1,000 in 2007 or is it $1,000 PLUS $430?

Alas, the amount you carry forward is based on what the credit was in the tax year you originally claimed it. Happy taxes!

our tax guy said it's the amount from the first year you claimed it...if it goes up the next year you dont benefit from that increase
