DNA on it's way
Our 2nd DNA results are on their way to the embassy, they should be there tomorrow.
 Sad thing is it won't matter because when we get PINK we'll have to cancel the appointment until the legal issues at Semillas are over.

Joan,
Have you tried contacting John Lowell, or any other big wigs?? If the case is completed, maybe they can do something to help get it released??? keep us posted. Gail

I've emailed John Lowell twice and have received no response. I don't know who else can help, if anyone has any ideas I'd be happy to hear them.

I know it doesn't help much but every step you get done is that much less of a wait when this BS PGN is pulling with Semillas is resolved. I'm excited for you and just know that your OUT will happen FAST once the order is lifted. You are almost there---hang in there!!!

Yay for DNA on the way! I'll pray that the legal issues are worked out quickly. It will be a great feeling just to know you're technically done, though, won't it! Have fun stalking fedex!

Oh...and as far as what to do...I don't know, but I would call John Lowell. I would call him every hour on the hour till he took my call. I would call, call and call some more, forget email...too easy to hit delete...call, call, call. Seriously...the first day I would call 2 times, then the next day I would call 3 times, then the next day 4 times and god forbid I got to 8 times!!

It's hard to believe the things that are going on with Guatemala adoption right now--especially in cases like yours. You have waited so long to be done and have your beautiful daughter home. I'm sorry you have yet one more obstacle to overcome. I hope this gets resolved quickly, for your sake and for your daughter's. This is just not fair. Carolyn

Great news on DNA! I would fax Lowell and call. Maybe a call to Lowell from your congressperson would help. Hang in there!
