Bug has been home a year and his visa has expired if we would every need to travel out of the US and I figure it was time to get the passport stuff done. My post office was accepting passport aplications on 31May, a Saturday. So, I took the all documents, got the photos taken, paid the fees and figured that it would be months before I got the new passport and all my documents back.
We have a trip planned for December, so I figured I needed to get moving on the passport-


The new passport arrived today- it was issued 06Jun. Incrediable- 1 week later I have a US passport for Bug in hand along with all the original documents back. I guess the delays from last year are gone this year.

That's good to hear.....we have to get one for DD, so she can go to Guatemala when it's time to bring home her little sister.....

So, what did you submit to get the passport, besides the application, fees, and photos.

I snet all the documens required in the application- US BC, COC and his Guatemala. I also included his Guatemalan BC (copy) and the final adoption decree (copy).

I just used the checklist in the application and sent everything I had, jus tin case. I wanted no delays in getting the passport.
