Hey FRIENDS......I am planning to fly in July and was booking my flight this afternoon and got to a roadblock. My dear adopted son doesn't have his COC yet. All we have is his Resident Alien card and his Guat. passport. We do have a birth certificate that has his date of birth on it and his adopted name.

SO......what name do I use...the one on the Res. Alien card or the one on the birth certificate??????

I put the reservation on hold for a few hours.....Thanks so much in advance....Melodie

I fly with my kiddos fairly often. They never ask for ID for the children if you are flying domestically, unless it is for an under-2-year-old lap child (for proof of age, nothing else -- they have to pay for a seat if they are 2 or older). So you can use the name on the BC.

I second what Dee said. Just bring your new BC. That's all you'll need (domestically).

Only bring your new BC. Else if you bring the other stuff they will get very confused. have a wonderful trip. Hugs, Anna
