Message of Hope
It's been a long time since I've posted anything on the Forum but I check in every once in a while to keep up on the happenings in GT. My heart goes out to everyone anxiously waiting for the children to come home and I know how hard the waiting is. My daughter went through the Hague problems in '03 and wasn't able to bring her baby home until May of '04 when she was already 14 1/2 months old.
Now, it's 4 years later and Alicia is a beautiful 5 year old who excels at gymnastics and is learning to read and write her numbers and letters. She will be entering kindergarten in September. I've hesitated to post any pictures this year because I didn't want to cause more anxiety for those of you waiting but I've decided that you might want to see that the wait is worth it, no matter how long it takes. These are her Easter/5 year birthday pictures. Please hang in there and know that many of us who have waited for our children and grandchildren to come home know how you feel and are praying for a speedy exit for all of you.

She is beautiful and so grown up, too! Parker is starting Kindergarten in the fall, too! I bet alot of the Hague babies will be starting Kind. this year!

Never even filed 11/5-prior atty wants to "check" on us.Tells new atty he was never pd by agency! Agrees to give our file IF we release him of all liab  1/6/09-rec the real COA! Petition to be filed with CNA tomorrow!  2/10-'old' atty won't release our file...w/out PAYING a fee! So much for release of liability 2/16-Agree to pay file ransom 4/29-File FINALLY given to new atty 5/19-CNA officially approves us to begin adoption; accepts dossier NOW MORE HOOPS

Kindergarten for My Hague '03 "Baby"!
Yes, along with many Hague '03 babies, my son will enter Kindergarten in Sept. He reminds me constantly that he is not a baby - so he would be very offended by the title of my post - lol!
He was absolutely worth the wait!!! He came home at three days short of his 18 month birthday (after being referred at 3 days old) - a long wait that I'm sure many can relate to. He has been a joy and a miracle every day since his arrival. Prayers for all who are waiting today. Stay strong.

Wow! Cici really has grown up!
Annie is another Hague baby who will be going into kindergarten in September. I remember the summer of 2003 so well........and look how far we have come since then..our babies are off to kindergarten in a few short months! I hope and pray everyday that all of my fellow forum friends' babies come home soon! Diane

It really is amazing to think all our Hague babies of 03 are now....getting ready to enter kindergarten!!!! What an awful time....but look at all the little miracles we were all blessed with!!!

Gorgeous girl!!
Another old timer here.......Ian will start kindergarten in the fall as well. He is SO big just like the rest of our Hague babies.....they will always be babies to us, right?? We continue to pray for all Guat adoptions and the waiting families! We know how difficult and heart-wrenching it can be.
