Arbitration
I do not post anymore, but I still visit and cheer for you all when I see homecomings and pray for you all who are still waiting for your children to come home...about 18 months ago, my son/dil contracted with certain agency but the adoption was stopped because of a deceptive HS agency and a certain...shall we say questionable IA agency...as a result, a civil suit against both agencies and the principals is in the works...but before they could proceed, there was an arbitration clause in the contract of the IA agency that had to be followed....well, just today, we learned that my son/dil WON the arbitration...the agency has to refund all fees...one down, one to go...just thought I'd let you know there is justice out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes!! Thanks for posting. That lets others know they don't have to cower to agencies that use tactics that are less than upstanding. My hope that is with some new oversight things like what happened to your loved ones will not happen in the future. Good for your kids....they deserve a win!!

Glad to hear that justice was done....we hear so much about abusive agencies and it's good that someone was willing to go after one. Congrats!
