COC How long did it take you?
We are applying for our COC. How long did it take you to get yours back? We are waiting for the revised birth certificate since the re adoption. That takes seeral months. I'm looking forward to not writing checks anymore, and being done with this paperwork.

Ours took 6 months from the Philadelphia office at the beginning of 2007.

10 months since I sent the ppw and still waiting. I called for a status update and received in the mail a notice that it was still pending. I sent mine to the Hartford, CT office.

COC appointment today!
We are in california and when I went to drop off the application they said it would be 1 year. I couldn't believe it would take that long. We may not be able to go on our family cruise next year if we don't get the COC in order to get our sons passport.
