Question about 2nd DNA
Our credit card was charged for the 2nd DNA. Does anyone know if that means that they did the 2nd DNA or that it just got charged before it will get done? How long after getting charged does the DNA get done?

They usually charge it a day or so before the 2nd DNA gets done! Your almost done!!!!

I can tell you how ours is working. When the US Embassy issued the DNA authorization it was sent to me by our hogar, I then contacted the lab with the credit card information and a copy of the DNA auth. As soon as the payment was processed, the lab sent a copy of the authorization marked paid to Dr. Montiels office. Now it's just a matter of the child being taken in for the test. So basically, we have had authorization and payment made since last Tuesday but as far as I know the test still hasn't been done.

Thanks, I called the Lab where the 1st DNA was done and they told me that they just need permission from our agency to release info. to me. They took my credit card $$ but they will not give me info without the agency's permission. I need to call them back later to see if the agency got in touch with them. I want to see if the test was done (status) or did they just take the credit card for future testing.

Congrats! Our agency uses another lab, and it seems to be taking forever!! Glad to hear someone's is moving fast !!!
