Pat reports that USE really doesn't like it when they send copies of results down because it confuses their process. I begged her...we'll see how the day shakes out. Sigh...

Pat from Labcorp is fed exing yet another copy....but given today is thursday, monday is a holiday....if they really can't find those results, they won't receive them until tuesday. Sigh.

You know, our DNA went down with another family's from my agency....I gave USE that family's name to see if they were stuck together. No news from USE yet this morning, but it is early yet in GC. Trying to stay positive...

Ok -- time for an update it's 3 o'clock -- no pink post yet?????

I was given that same excuse when I was waiting for pink. I emailed the USE back stating that I'd contact Washington's homeland security because there seemed to be a security breach at the embassy if sensitive documents such as the DNA could be so easily misplaced.

2 hrs later, they emailed to state that they had the results and that it had been a misunderstanding.

Also, I'd suggest calling the USE. They take calls from 1:30 to 3pm Guatemala time (3:30 - 5 Florida time) to "show your concern for the lack of security on sensistive docs". Remember, if you call and get the answering (which they always "forget" to disconnect, call back and speak with the operator. She'll switch you directly to the USE bypassing the answering machine).

I just called and talked with a lovely woman. She said they found the DNA and will be emailing me later today with a June 2 date. I'll posted when/if I get that email!
